Objectives of the course

ARDANS, expert in knowledge management, offers you the KM training "Evaluate and identify key knowledge". This Knowledge Management training aims at enabling participants to map the key knowledge of an organisation, a service, a department or a laboratory, and to assess its criticality.

This KM training allows to detect and structure the key knowledge within an entity and to determine those that are critical and that will require the implementation of actions. Through this training, ARDANS proposes the learning of a methodology allowing to carry out a knowledge mapping of the business domain and to evaluate the criticality of the identified knowledge. It can be applied to an organisation, a department, a laboratory, a team, an expert, etc.

Ardans training courses are intended for professionals.

The training lasts one day and is intended for Knowledge Managers, Knowledge Engineers, or any person involved in the development of human capital.

How the course is run

The KM training offered by Ardans covers the following elements:

Morning

Introduction to criticality

Step 1: Building the knowledge map
- Identify all the knowledge of a business domain and the associated skills
- Define knowledge, know-how and soft skills

2nd step: building the criticality criteria grid

Presentation and choice of the most relevant criteria
- Definition of the possible values taken by each criterion
- Construction of the criticality evaluation grid

Afternoon

3rd step: analyse the mapping by identifying the level of criticality (in the company's sense) of the fields of knowledge
- Evaluate the criticality according to the selected grid
4th step: define the action plan
- Planning of resources, deadlines and actions to be taken to implement good knowledge management
