In the banking sector, the transactions processed are often complex (the country's market rules, types of products, exchange rate particularities, tax legislation must be taken into account). All these specificities make it difficult for newcomers to acquire the necessary skills. To overcome this problem, a careful capitalisation of knowledge, making it available to staff in the exercise of their duties, as well as the implementation of a knowledge acquisition curriculum and an evaluation process by managers are necessary. This requires team buy-in, a scoping study and the building of a knowledge base.
