Club 3C-R

Club 3C-R was founded in 2006 by Doctor Jeanne Helene di Donato, consulting and expert in management of human living resources and management of the Biological Resource Centers (BRC).
Club 3C-R is a French-speaking network of BRC or teams implied in BRC problems.

Professional practices, national and international recommendations, laws of bioethics and their revisions caused many evolution which brought to a professionalisation and a recognition of the BRC.

The BRC are today recognized infrastructures which work for collection, preparation, setting in collection and conservation of fabrics, cells and human body produces in order to place them at the disposal of the academic or private researchers.

Challenges

Conceived in dynamic of sharing between professionals, the Club has the role of:

  • Supporting the linking of all members, in order to know and to seize appropriatenesses of collaboration,
  • Making available information on network’s life,
  • Working together on shared problems (quality, standardization , regulation, ethics),
  • Facilitating working groups’ actions,
  • Valuing and sharing knowledge and know-how of the profession.

Objectives

  • To produce, disseminate and share informations and targeted knowledge for submission to Club members around the problems of the BRC.
  • To provide exchanges’ forums on subjects of interest.
  • To offert the work groups, tools for collaboration to manage and to follow the production of new texts and models of work.

Solution

The platform of the CLUB 3C-R was designed, produced and deployed using Ardans tools Knowledge Maker® and AKM Composer (companion module).

It is lodged on a server managed by Ardans. Administration of the platform is directly led by the competent individual members of the Club.

Functions

  • Presentation:

Club and its members (BRC or not), visibility and search facilitated according to targeted thematics and collections’ types.

  • Library:

Documents generated by the Club (books, sheets, summaries, models for BRC), publications and other lawful texts inherent in the activity‘s sphere of the BRC, providers’ sheets and dictionary for the BRC.

  • Share and swaps:

Through the forum, the FAQ, a list of useful internet links for BRC activities and finally, access to the elements and work sheets of the working groups.
