Knowledge management for change

Organisational change is now a reality and a necessity for companies, which must reinvent their practices in order to face national or international competition. The transition from the industrial economy to the immaterial economy and from information technology to information has indeed changed the situation and created a situation where knowledge management is becoming a necessary instrument not only for the life of the company, but also to meet its needs for change.

Knowledge Management allows change to be addressed through a range of techniques and skills: knowledge mapping highlights the need for change, communities of practice create a collective interest in it, while exchange promotes the dissemination of knowledge and thus allows rapid adaptation to this new reality.

The research is clear that there are important factors for successful organisational change, including the use of an easy-to-use knowledge management tool. These include the use of an easy-to-use knowledge management tool, a multi-stage roll-out, carefully selected ambassadors and strong internal communication.

The processing of data, information and knowledge is at the heart of Ardans' business. That's why we offer the services already mentioned above, as well as knowledge recovery services in the context of staff turnover (e.g. retirements), or studies and audits of the functioning of your current knowledge management system.

These studies propose recommendations and best practices, based on 18 years of experience, to be implemented to adapt the company to this new environment. Ardans proposes to intervene as an external service provider to facilitate this transition in an approach that places people at the heart of the process to collaborate and share their knowledge.
