Kloogle & Innovation - Klinger Project

The KLINGER Group of independant Compagnies was founded in 1886 by Richard Klinger. Today, the Klinger Group is recognized as reliable partner for global Sealing and Fluid Control solutions, employing over 2000 professionals and operating over 40 manufacturing, distribution and service hubs on all continents. Starting off from a small workshop outside Vienna (Austria), the KLINGER site in Gumpoldskirchen has continously been extended and is now serving as the group‘s largest production site.

Called "Kloogle & Innovation", the multi-site collaborative platform developed by Ardans with Ardans Knowledge Maker®, is the KLINGER knowledge management portal built around six complementary contexts : Reference, Innovation, Service, Forum, Success stories, Cross search.

• Contributors are divised as "Basic Users" and "Advanced Users". Each user is appointed to a referent, an "Advanced User", in charge of qualify and validate knowledge posted in the "Kloogle & Innovation" base.
• An "Administrator", appointed by the organization, is in charge to moderate contributions inside the portal, and to manage user accounts.
• Each context has its own workflow rules about creation, submission, modification of a knowledge element. For example, an innovation article can be related to a product, a process or a service and integrated within his own validation workflow.

The english langage was chosen for an optimal communication and search engine AKM Search® facilitates navigation. Once the first initial data is loaded, "Basic Users" make live the device under "Advanced Users" and "Administrator" control, trained by Ardans to manage the tool.
