KM on DEFECTS a tool for knowledge capitalization and sharing about defectology of the products "flat carbon steels".

KM on DEFECTS improves quality management and in fine contributes directly to the improvement of the performances related to quality of projects.

The objectives quoted by the management of ArcelorMittal are:

  • To accelerate the resolution's quality issues, to avoid the crisis.
  • To lock the processes and to evaluate the risks on the foreseen modifications.
  • To share and improve the monitoring roadmaps.
  • To support the collaborative working (experience feedbacks, technical support by experts, forum).
  • Assistance with the formation, etc.

Solution

Ardans Knowledge Maker AKM Kernel is used as assistance with capitalization business competencies and provides to the user a flexible access to knowledge according to the modes:
